Agenda for Tuesday 4/24/2012

What we accomplished this week:

Explorations - focus on Spanish and English explorers - why they came and what happened when they got here.

Additionally, we will focus on the idea of Progress for the entire year - beginning in August. We will go back and look at how the idea of Progress fits into the Native American section of the unit and then think through how "Progress" will work with the "Learning Activity".

For next week:
We will work on the Supply Lists - due May 15.

To be prepared:

• Each grade level will look at their supply lists from this year (both the Student Supply Lists and the Office Depot Supply Lists).

• Figure out which pieces are "must haves".

• Figure out which pieces could be dropped.

• Figure out if there are items that were not included but you wish had been.

We will work through the lists, see where they match up, and figure out where we need to compromise or differentiate.
