Agenda Items

Hey guys,

Here are the items we discussed for the agenda as we move forward.

• Macro-planning the "exploration" section of the Native American/Exploration Unit

• Establishing Learning Goals (not just basic facts recall of SS knowledge)

• Establishing and planning for the final project - specifically how it can be a true summative assessment and not just a project.

• Creating other assessments - both formative and summative

• Begin pacing and adding specific learning goals to daily/weekly lessons. Again being conscious to not just focus on basic recall of facts.

Obviously we won't get all this done in one meeting, but I thought it was important to get it all down on paper. Please let me know if you think there is something I've left out.

I think we should be able to accomplish number one this week.
