So it has been awhile since there has been lots of new information at a Lead Team meeting to share out. But there was a bucket load today! So here you go:
- Research in Action is happening this Thursday. They will be coming through the 4/5 rooms between 10:20 and 10:40.
- Lunch is provided for us on Thursday. I will have to clarify about where it will be now that School Psych is located next to the lounge.
- Stipends for Wednesday have not been decided as of yet.
- There is a possibility that Lynda may want us to use our three early release days (or at least two of them) for discussions about furniture in the new building. She is working with Dr. Machen and others to commandeer the funds for the furniture and she is actively working to get us a consultant to walk us through our best options.
- Also relating to furniture, we have been asked to talk for a few minutes about what we bought new last year and what our thoughts were - pros & cons - on Wednesday. Nothing formal, just be thinking.
- We are also beginning to discuss interns for next year and Admin wants everyone's thoughts. Do we want them? Do we want a year off? Would it be better if we had year long interns - one per LC or maybe one per grade level? Other options you can think of?...
- Would we like a chorus concert during one of the Early Release days before Christmas?

I love the idea of the furniture talk on the three early release days. I'd like to be a part of whatever presentations are given and any discussions had about furniture as I see it in my space and the space used by others.
